Much ink has been spilled lately bemoaning the homogeneity and corporatization of the modern music festival, so what better time than in-between two Coachella weekends to announce a music festival that is the complete opposite of whatever the hell they’re doing out there in Indio. Beyond stoked to announce the details for Deathstock II, an annual festival put on by San Francisco’s Death Records.
The three-day event will take place June 17-19 at Camp Outback in Guerneville, California. The line up includes many Death Records artists (all of whom are amazing and all of whom you need to be listening to right now) on three stages – including one stage curated by LA-based Gnar Tapes, as well as two evening shows at hosted at McT’s Bullpen – a local venue accessible via passenger bridge.
The Camp Outback shows take place Saturday, June 18 with White Fence, Holy Shit, Ganglians (reunion), Sam Flax, The World, Male Gaze, The Memories, among others, and Sunday, June 19 with Sonny & the Sunsets, Little Wings, Sarah Bethe Nelson, Mild High Club, Silver Shadows, Healing Potpourri, and many more.
The McT’s Bullpen shows take place Friday, June 17 with Life Stinks, Violent Change, Swiftumz, Brasil, and Saturday, June 19 with Cole Lodge, Harry Talin, Brogan Bentley, and Lil Donyel.
Tickets go on sale on April 20, 2016 via longlivedeathrecords.com. Admission is $90 for a 3-Day Camping Pass, $65 for a Weekend Pass, and $35 for a Day Pass.
